Here's my Best Shot. I took this picture of Big J after her bath. She was wrapped in a blanket and her hair was wrapped in a towel. Only her cute little face was peaking out so what else to do but grab the camera!
Anyone out there care to tell my why my pictures aren't as crisp or sharp as all of you. What am I doing wrong? Is it the camera? Do I need a new lens? What's the secret? I know that's a loaded question, but I thought I'd ask.

Definitely a shot worth grabbing the camera...she is so cute!
As for the sharpening...some of it is focus on the camera and some of it is processing. I use manual focus on my camera, meaning I have 5 focus points and I select the one closest to their eyes for the camera to focus on. I never let my camera choose the focus area on its own.
The other area is processing. Digital cameras have a digital haze so they look softer than a photo shot with film would look. To overcome this, I use a technique called "defog" that removes the haze and makes the picture look sharper.

Yeah...just listen to Stacy there...she can tell you better than any of us! :-) But I think it is just beautiful - big ol' eyes...all peeking out.
