Anyone out there work from home? What do you do? How did you get your job? And is it really as lovely as it sounds?
Actually, I laready know the answer to that. Maybe a better question to ask is how do you make it work?
I am going to take maternity leave early because I just don't have it in me to work anymore, but I'd like to try and still bring in some kind of money. I have done freelance writing in the past and think that's probably my best bet, but I just feel so out of it that stringing together a coherent query letter seems next to impossible.
I feel like my brain is mush lately. My creativity is slowly coming back, but I don't know how to harness it and turn it into cash. Any advice?

Happy New Year!
It's been almost 2 months since the last time I posted. Wow! I never thought I'd let it go that long. I was so psyched when I started writing this blog I never imagined losing focus so quickly. I guess getting pregnant will do that to you.
So, in case you're wondering, I've been miserable. I don't want to come back and whine but it's been so hard these last few months. It seems like everything is happening all at once. I didn't have to deal with sciatic pain, leg cramps, a weak bladder, exhaustion and everything in between with J. My first pregnancy was a breeze compared to this.
Thankfully, I'm nearing the end. Check out that little ticker on the sidebar. That's right, a little more than 10 weeks to go. I was at the doctor today and so far I've gained 21 pounds. I definitely feel like it. Just getting on and off the couch is a struggle.
I've started seeing a chiropracter for my back pain and it seems to be helping. I was sick for about a month and a half with a terrible cough and everytime I sneezed I peed in my pants. Sexy, huh?
J is still being a doll. She is so understanding about mommy not feeling well. Hubby is picking up the slack a lot and it's been really helpful. He's not exactly thrilled about my less-than-zero desire for sex throughout this pregnancy, but I think he's holding up okay.
I am starting my maternity leave at the end of this month and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. I miss blogging and reading all of your blogs. I feel so disconnected.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and happy new year.
Can't wait to catch up!
