Habits I Need to Break
-Wiping food on the back of my pants. I am too lazy to get a paper towel.
-Cursing. It's one of my worst habits. I love to swear. It makes me feel powerful. My daughter has picked up on it though and now lovingly refers to our dog Coco as a "pain in the ass."
-Buying clothes that don't fit. Why is everything made to be so clingy?
-Checking my e-mail every 2 seconds. That goes for Myspace, too!
-Eating when I'm bored. This has got to stop.
-Watching soap operas during my daughter's nap. It's a guilty pleasure! Updated to add blogging. I read as many as I can while watching soap operas and waiting for J to wake up and demand my attention.
What habits do you need to break?

Eating when stressed, or as a reward. Very bad.
Not thinking through clothing purchases, buying something I don't really like just because it's on sale. I need to spend more time and more money to get items that I can wear for a longer period of time.
Blogging when I get stuck on a problem at work. ;-)
I wipe food on the back of my pants too-only if they're already dirty from the day and if I'm not really going anywhere else. But yeah, it IS a bad habit! :)
Oh, I'm terrible about the e-mail one, too. And eating when bored. And buying clothes that don't fit.

Oh my gosh, I do the wiping thing too! And I am so obsessive about my e-mail you'd think I actually get a lot. Sadly, that's not the case, but still I check and check and check.
Overdosing my kids on dvds? I am so terrible.
I have all the smae ones as you but instead of soaps when the kids are napping I am reading blogs. Which is what is going on right now, the kids are sleeping and I am right here commenting, don't you feel extra special knowing that? lol
Your post was so funny to me because. Oh. My. God. I could have wrote it. Same bad habits. Exact same. If you have any magical tricks for breakin 'em - send that info my way :)
One habit I need to start is working out more often. Especially after eating all this Easter chocolate.
I leave half empty coffee cups in my car...for days
I overstuff things...too many dishes in the dishwasher, too many clothes in the washer...too much trash in the garbage bin...because I am lazy.
Well, I've checked my email a few times since I've been here, and I'm still trying to work out the balance of the blogging thing. (I do have to get conversation somewhere and my neighbors certainly aren't home.) I have re-trained myself to mostly wipe on the fronts of my pants, because then I won't sit on whatever I wiped, thereby transferring it to the chair.
I stop at one or another thrift store almost every day, and I think that's a good habit. Keeps me in the realm of reality when I consider the value of new clothes (cost-per-wear and all that).
After breaking my knot.com habit, I discovered blogging. I probably should give this up since it consumes so much of my life, but I'm just not ready to yet.
Checking emails are the worst! Right up there are site stats...seeing who is viewing my blogs, how they got there and where they're from - it's a sickness!!
And I procrastinate. Like right now, I have Word open so I can work on 'real' writing. Instead, I think "ooh, I haven't been to J's site in awhile...I gotta check it first!" *blush*
I need to break all the same ones, except for the last one. I never really was a soap whore.
