Doctor, Doctor Give Me the News

The doctor went great today. Much better than expected. I was nervous about being behind in weeks but he said I'm right on target. 8 weeks and 2 days, just like my little picture to the left.

In the two weeks since I last visited the doctor, the baby grew a lot and that made me really happy. Oh and there's only 1 baby! Woo hoo!

My official due date is March 18, which is perfect because there are no other babies born in that month in my family. Between Hubby's family and mine it seems like we're always celebrating birthdays and we have to double up a lot. Not for this baby. He or she will have a birthday all their own.

Too bad the good news wasn't enough to make the morning sickness disappear. I still feel so yucky. It's hard because I feel okay in the morning and by the time lunch rolls around I really start to feel it. I get queasy and dead tired. I'm talking lay on the couch for 2 hours tired. My poor little J! She hasn't seen her beloved swingset in weeks. I feel so bad for her, but she's been sooooo good. I will have to make it up to her big time when this is all over.

Ok peeps, I'm tired. I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams to you all! :)

I am so glad to hear that the appointment went well...oh yeah, and that there is only one baby hanging out in there! :0
Here's to hoping the morning sickness passes soon....did you try the ginger snap cookies?

Glad everything is going smooth...well, except the sickness part. It's nice that you don't have to be worried anymore. The sickness should be going away in about 4 weeks, then you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Hooray for good news!!

And why is it called "morning" sickness anyway. It has nothing to do with the morning?!

Hope you get to enjoy your news soon and you are feeling better :)

I've been gone for awhile and didn't even know you were pregnant - CONGRATULATIONS!

Hope the morning sickness goes away. Until then, lay on the couch all you want. I do, and I haven't been pregnant for eight years.

I'm so glad that things are going well for you.

How is your doctor? I had an amazing doctor and it made all the difference. Also, I know you're in NJ. I delivered at St. Clares hospital in Denville both times. They made a new maternity unit and it was so lovely that I didn't want to leave (uh, no, really.)
