Happy New Year!

It's been almost 2 months since the last time I posted. Wow! I never thought I'd let it go that long. I was so psyched when I started writing this blog I never imagined losing focus so quickly. I guess getting pregnant will do that to you.

So, in case you're wondering, I've been miserable. I don't want to come back and whine but it's been so hard these last few months. It seems like everything is happening all at once. I didn't have to deal with sciatic pain, leg cramps, a weak bladder, exhaustion and everything in between with J. My first pregnancy was a breeze compared to this.

Thankfully, I'm nearing the end. Check out that little ticker on the sidebar. That's right, a little more than 10 weeks to go. I was at the doctor today and so far I've gained 21 pounds. I definitely feel like it. Just getting on and off the couch is a struggle.

I've started seeing a chiropracter for my back pain and it seems to be helping. I was sick for about a month and a half with a terrible cough and everytime I sneezed I peed in my pants. Sexy, huh?

J is still being a doll. She is so understanding about mommy not feeling well. Hubby is picking up the slack a lot and it's been really helpful. He's not exactly thrilled about my less-than-zero desire for sex throughout this pregnancy, but I think he's holding up okay.

I am starting my maternity leave at the end of this month and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. I miss blogging and reading all of your blogs. I feel so disconnected.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and happy new year.

Can't wait to catch up!

Hey, whenever you get a minute, you know? You run the blog, it doesn't run you.
But I look forward to seeing you out and about in Blogland again!

I have checked here every couple days for a new entry and was so happy to find one today.

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well and that this time around the pregnancy is giving you fits. But like you said you are in the home stretch. I hope that while you are on maternity leave you get some relief.

Try not to be a stranger to your own blog okay. I have missed you.

2007 promises to be an extra special year with the arrival of your new baby! Hope you feeling better although I remember how uncomfortable the last trimester can be. You are lucky as 21 pounds is hardly anything!

Sorry to hear that this pregnancy has been so hard. But don't worry about "whining" about it. Pregnancy is hard and it sucks for a lot of women. And it's OK to say so!

Take care.

Aw, hugs to you!!

I know how you feel though. All my pg's were bad, but the last ones were the worst!! I don't think my back has yet recovered from the squished sciatic nerve.

You hang in there!

(maybe this means a boy? when my pg's were night and day from each other it meant I was having a different sex. - ex with boys I had ms only 3 1/2 months vs girls was 6-7 months)

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

Oh I feel your pain. That's exactly how my pregnancy with Squeaks went. And that's also why I'm reluctant to go for baby #2! All I can say is that it will all be over soon and you will have another wonderful little one! Good luck and I hope you can somehow relax!
